Network Icon is showing not connected, where as i am connected an able to access internet.

Hi,

I am using Windows 10 Home Edition on my personal laptop. For the past few months I am facing this particular issue. The Network icon shows I am not connected, were as I am able to access the internet.

The same issue is occuring when i connect with my mobile hotspot too. I have tried all the solutions provided in the old posts. But it was not successful.

Provide a solution to fix this issue as i could not able to connect to ther microsoft services.

    In that case, I'm afraid the other registries are also incorrect and you'll need to change them as well.

    1. Open Registry Editor and navigate to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet

    1. Check and update these values:
    • ActiveWebProbeContent = Microsoft Connect Test
    • ActiveWebProbeHost = www.msftconnecttest.com
    • ActiveWebProbePath = connecttest.txt
    1. Close Registry Editor;
    2. Restart your PC.
