Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

What is the manufacturer and model of your computer?

If it is a custom-built computer, please tell me the manufacturer and model of the motherboard.

    I await your reply.

    Thanks for the clarification.

I found that some HP laptop users who encountered the same error during Windows installation have successfully resolved it by resetting the BIOS to its default settings.

These are the recommended steps I found on the HP Forum. I asked Copilot to help me rephrase them so they're easier to understand:

    1. Boot into BIOS:
      • Power on the laptop and immediately press Esc, then press F10 to enter the BIOS setup.
    2. Load Default Settings:
      • In the BIOS menu, look for an option like "Load Setup Defaults", "Restore Defaults", or "Optimized Defaults".
      • Select it and confirm the action.
    3. Save and Exit:
      • Save the changes and exit BIOS.
      • Restart the laptop and try the Windows installation again.

This simple reset can resolve configuration conflicts that prevent Windows Setup from detecting necessary drivers.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    • How did you create the Windows installation media?
    • Did you use the official Media Creation Tool or a third-party utility?
    • If it was a third-party tool, could you let me know which one you used?

    I await your reply.
