Help! I cannot edit nor add new new section groups, as when I try, an error that says OneNote cannot sync due to insufficient storage, where in fact I have only used 20% of my 1TB OneDrive allocation.

I am an independent advisor, and I will try to guide you best with your issue.

Try to force OneNote to rebuild its local data, as the problem maybe a corrupted local cache or a single faulty section, not your actual OneDrive storage. close the OneNote application completely. Then, locate and either delete or rename the OneNote cache folder on your computer (on Windows, you can find it by searching for %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneNote\16.0). After deleting the cache, restart OneNote, which will force it to download a fresh copy of your notebooks from the cloud. If the issue persists, it points to a corrupted section on the server, which you can find by creating a new notebook and copying your sections over one-by-one until you identify the one that causes the sync to fail.

Kindly dont hesitate to inquire if you have more issues.

    Regards,

    PA

Completely quit the OneNote application (rightclick its icon in the Dock and select Quit). Next, open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G to open the Go to Folder menu, and paste in the following path:

    ~/Library/Containers/Microsoft OneNote/Data/Library/Caches

Once you press Go, select all the files and folders inside this Caches folder and move them to the Trash.

Finally, empty your Trash and restart OneNote; the app will then redownload your notebooks from OneDrive, which will resolve the synchronization error.

    Thank you!

Already did the steps mentioned, to no avail. :-( It still wouldn't sync because it's "out of storage,"
