    Dear Vilayil George Ma,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better understand and assist with the issue you're experiencing in the SharePoint app on iOS, could you please clarify a few things?

    • What kind of results were you expecting from the search?
    • What exactly is happening when you perform a search, are results missing, incorrect, or not loading at all?
    • Does this happen with specific keywords, file types, or libraries?
    • Have you noticed if the issue occurs only on iOS, or does it happen on other devices too?

Any additional details or screenshots you can share would be really helpful in identifying the root cause and finding a solution faster.

    Best regards,

    • What kind of results were you expecting from the search? Results that have the keyword in it.
    • What exactly is happening when you perform a search, are results missing, incorrect, or not loading at all? Missing / less.
    • Does this happen with specific keywords, file types, or libraries? Does not matter which keyword, the behavior is the same.
    • Have you noticed if the issue occurs only on iOS, or does it happen on other devices too? Only on the SharePoint app for iOS. In browser, results are fine as expected. I do not see any issues on the Android app.
    • Any additional details or screenshots you can share would be really helpful in identifying the root cause and finding a solution faster. Would suggest if you can test this at your end too.

    Dear Geo_MS,
    Thank you for your response.
Could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling the SharePoint app on your iOS device? This often helps resolve app-specific issues, especially after updates or sync interruptions.
If the issue still persists after reinstalling, I recommend raising a support ticket with Microsoft so their team can investigate further, especially since the search works fine on Android and web, which suggests it may be a platform-specific issue.
Kindly follow these steps below to submit a support request ticket.
Submit a Service Request: The Global Admin should create a service request with Microsoft support to get advanced technical assistance and diagnostics. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.

    1. Find Your Microsoft 365 Admin: If you’re unsure who the Global Admin is within your organization, you can find guidance on locating them here: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support.
    2. Call Microsoft Support: For additional assistance, use this link to find the appropriate contact number: Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support
    3. Contact a Reseller (if applicable): If your Office 365 subscriptions are managed through a federated partner or reseller and the Global Admin cannot open a service request, they should contact the reseller’s support provider. The reseller can assist with initiating the request and coordinating with the Office 365 support team.

Note: If you’re an end-user, please coordinate with your Office 365 Global Administrator to handle these steps.

We hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
