Microsoft Defender not working on iOS , the Web Protection keeps switching off. When I start the it the VPN gets activated on iPhone and then for no reason automatically switches off

Microsoft Defender not working on iOS, when I switch on web protection it automatically switches off after sometime without any error. Initially when I switch it on VPN comes on and then automatically switches off
