Problem with onedrive sync not uploading for my work account

I have tried everything I knew to do to get my one drive to sync with my business account but it just doesn't work. I have deleted all of the files and folders for one drive including the system ones re-ran the install and if I only add my work account I'll constantly see the sync symbol next to the file name in explorer but the one drive app just sits there and does nothing. Any guidance for this issue would be greatly appreciated. Running windows 11 64bit home edition and using onedrive that came with windows 11.

Hi Charlie , this is Kimberly. I'm glad to assist you today.

    Some companies have policies that:

    Block syncing to non-corporate devices

    Require device compliance in Intune

Require MFA sign-in through a browser before sync starts

    Test:

Go to https://portal.office.com/onedrive in your browser, log in with your work account, and try uploading a small file.

If it works there, the account is fine, but the desktop client is being blocked.

If you see a message about device registration or admin approval, that’s the cause.

Should you have more questions, please let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly

I'm not familiar with the compatibility of Windows Home Editions and business accounts.

Can you add your work account at the OneDrive Settings > Account tab > "+ Add an account"?

Are the settings available at Windows Start > Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School? If so, you must add your Work account there.
