    Hi @eden,

Good day to you! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

Regarding to your description, I would recommend trying these steps to see if the issue persists:

    1. Restart OneNote:
      • Close OneNote completely and then reopen it to see if the error persists.
    2. Reinstall OneNote:
      • If the error continues, try deleting OneNote and reinstalling it from the App Store.
    3. Update iPadOS and OneNote:
      • Make sure your iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS and that you have the most recent version of OneNote installed.
    4. Check Microsoft Account Sign-In:
      • Ensure you are signed in to OneNote with your Microsoft account and that there aren’t any issues with your account.

If you have any further question or difficulties trying my steps, please let me know. Looking forward to your response.

    Hi @eden,

Since the above solutions didn't work, I would recommend you access OneNote on the web to see if the issue is related to account configurations. In the meantime, please try to clear OneNote cache on your iPad. Here's how to do it:

    1. Go to Settings > General > iPad Storage > OneNote
    2. Select Offload App
    3. Sign in to the app again

If you have any further questions and difficulties trying my solutions, please let me know. Looking forward to your response.

    To Microsoft Support,

My name is Eden, and I’m using a personal Microsoft account: PII removed.

I’m experiencing a critical issue with OneNote. When I try to open OneNote (on iPad, browser, or desktop), I receive the following error:

“Sorry, we’re unable to fetch your notebooks right now. Please try again later.”

The issue started a few days ago, when I tried to set up OneNote for the first time. Other Office apps like Word and PowerPoint are working fine with this account, but OneNote is completely unusable.

I urgently need OneNote access for my studies, and I would appreciate it if you could help resolve this as soon as possible.

    Error code seen: f6072e25-947f-45cf-95cb-382965ba18a8

Device tested on: iPad, Windows laptop, and browser (Chrome and Edge)

Tried fixes: Reset app, reinstalled, cleared permissions, switched devices, signed in/out – nothing worked.

Please advise what I can do, or if something in the account setup needs to be reset from your end.

    Thank you,

    Eden
