We need assistance to recover a deleted Azure Storage Account containing critical production data. The loss places the entire company at operational risk.

🧾 Incident Summary

Storage Account Name: yos17463

Resource Group: aks-lab

Subscription ID: bd042719-b5cb-461c-aaef-192851a4387d

Subscription Type (from portal): Microsoft Azure Sponsorship

Deletion Time: Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 21:58:29 GMT+3 (Israel Time)

Deleted By: ******@gmail.com (confirmed via activity log)

Operation: Delete Storage Account

Resource Path: /subscriptions/bd042719-b5cb-461c-aaef-192851a4387d/resourceGroups/aks-lab/providers/Microsoft.Storage/storageAccounts/yos17463

Business Impact

This Storage Account included:

Financial documents

Internal backups and system logs

Sensitive customer and operational data

Core files that the company relies on daily

We have no backups elsewhere, and without this data, the business will be unable to continue operating. This is an urgent, business-critical situation.

🖼️ Recovery Attempt via Portal – Failed

An attempt was made to restore the account via:

Azure Portal → Help + Support → Restore Deleted Account

Subscription Selected: Microsoft Azure Sponsorship

Deleted account selection field: Empty – “No available items” shown

A screenshot of this attempt is attached for reference. This suggests:

The Storage Account is not recoverable via the portal, even though the deletion was only 16 days ago.

The account may still be recoverable internally by Microsoft, despite not being listed.

Internal metadata or recovery references may have been lost or untracked.

🆘 Request for Assistance

Immediate assistance is requested to:

Recover the deleted Storage Account (yos17463) and all its contents – containers, blobs, configurations, etc.

Please clarify whether recovery is still possible via:

Soft-delete mechanisms

Geo-redundant/zone-redundant backups

Internal Microsoft engineering tools

Also, provide clarification on why the account does not appear in the portal recovery list, considering:

The subscription is valid

The deletion occurred within ~14–16 days

This is not a classic or legacy account

If recovery is not possible, guide us with any final data export options, snapshots, or metadata remnants.
