Whenever I open the Word or Excel Android app I see the message "One or accounts require you to sign back in".

Both apps are the latest version.

I've cleared the cache, reset, uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

Running on a Galaxy S25+.

Latest version of Android/Security patches installed.

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for the update. Since you're using a passwordless setup and the issue only affects Word and Excel, it's likely a sign-in token issue with those apps. Please try again my suggestion to remove your Microsoft account from the device, uninstalling Word and Excel, restarting, then reinstalling and signing in through the Office app first.

    Warm regards,

    Hi Marc,

    Thanks again for the update.

Since your account is passwordless and Android devices aren’t listed, this is likely an app-specific token issue. Please uninstall Word and Excel, restart your device, then install and sign in through the Microsoft Office app first. This often resets authentication properly.

    Warm regards,
