Here is the same problem. After renaming, the link is broken and I cannot see the files on my desktop. It was first name 0_Logos and PPT Template and after renames to 3_Branding_strategy, but it is not updated either syncs.

Please can someone provide some useful advice around Teams. I train Microsoft Teams for a job and one of the biggest issues I find is clients complaining about syncing. Clients often rename teams and channels which as I understand is still an ongoing issue and currently still open on the user voice. Is there any way to stop people renaming teams and channels or any advice around best practice to manage this at IT admin level? Best practice also for fixing sync issues between teams and sharepoint when the link has become broken by users renaming. Thanks in advance, hope Microsoft will address some of these important problems soon.
