Surface Go 2 repeatedly crashing/BSOD - INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Hello,

My surface go 2 is repeatedly crashing with a BSOD out of nowhere. It started when I was watching youtube and now does so every 15-30 minutes of use. The BSOD gives the following error message:

INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I followed some advice and hard reset the machine, removing all my files, cleaning the disk, and reinstalling windows (not by downloading)

What else could the issue be? What could I try next?

Here's the specs:

    Hello,

I followed all this advice exactly as written, and during the recovery my device said that there was a problem and recovery was halted. I pressed ok then I got the following error:

The device then turned off and now when I turn it on it says “no bootable device” and I can’t do anything at all. Starting it up with the volume down button doesn’t do anything either.

Is the device just dead now? Is there anything else I can do?

    Hi Cameron Wilson1,

I'm sorry to hear if performing the USB recovery image didn't work. I really appreciate the time you spent performing this steps. This is more likely a hardware failure with the device. I recommend to contact our live support to get further assistance in getting a replacement.

You may contact our live support to check options for your device  through the numbers listed in Global Customer Service phone numbers (microsoft.com) under For Business users. This also works with Home users , just select Surface then Home as a type of user in the IVR prompt. You may also reach them through this page: Contact Us - Microsoft Support. You can check this thread for the instructions Need to contact Microsoft service centre - Microsoft Community.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
