Quick settings

You can use the quick settings icons in the bottom corner of the Sign in screen to access various settings for your Windows 365 Link. There are three different option icons:

  • Internet (Image of the internet icon.)
  • Audio
  • Accessibility (Image of the Accessibility icon.)

Internet

To see the internet options, on the Sign in screen, select the Internet icon (Image of the internet icon.). You can then select which network you want to use.

Audio

Select audio output device and manage its volume.

Accessibility

To see the accessibility options, on the Sign in screen, select the Accessibility icon (Image of the Accessibility icon.). You can then set the following accessibility options.

Settings

Control Description
Wi-Fi View and manage Wi-Fi connection.
Bluetooth View and manage Bluetooth devices. You can only add Bluetooth devices after you're authenticated. Not in Out of Box Experience (OOBE)
Accessibility Turn on/off accessibility tools: Magnifier, Contrast themes, Narrator, On-screen keyboard, Sticky keys, and Filter keys.
Language Choose display language used on your Windows 365 Link.
Display Change the scale for you display and set two monitor arrangement.
Privacy and Security View privacy and security settings for your Location, Camera, and microphone. Not in OOBE.
About this device Device name, OS build, Serial numbers and Check for updates.
Power button View power management options for the device.

Shortcuts

You can also connect to the Display and Bluetooth quick settings from within the Cloud PC session using shortcuts.

To access these experiences:

  1. Sign into your Cloud PC session.
  2. Open the Settings app.
  3. Navigate to the Display page or the Bluetooth page.
  4. Select the Open Additional Settings button.
  5. Make your desired changes on the quick settings control that appears.

Display redirections

You can manage available display settings from within your Cloud PC session when using Windows 365 Link devices. Available display settings will look and work as they do in a local Windows 11 session.

Note

On Windows 11 OS version 24H2, this feature requires OS build 26100.4333 (KB 5060842) or later installed. On Windows 11 OS version 23H2, this feature requires OS build 22621.5469 (KB 5060999) or later installed. This feature also depends on the Azure Virtual Desktop Side-by-Side (SxS) Network Stack, which is automatically maintained and updated by the service. Supported Display settings include:

  • Identify displays
  • Duplicate displays
  • Extend displays
  • Rearrange displays
  • Change orientation
  • Adjust resolution
  • Adjust scale

To access these Display settings:

  1. Sign into your Cloud PC session.
  2. Open the Settings app.
  3. Go to the Display page.
  4. Adjust settings as needed.
  5. Important: Display settings are specific to the physical device used to access the Cloud PC. If users switch to a different device, they may need to reconfigure display settings to match the new hardware setup.
