Power Apps allows you to build many different types of solutions. These solutions could consist of creating simple vehicle inspection forms and status reports, or complex business solutions for purchasing processes and inventory management. Power Apps simplifies app building. Although virtually anyone can use Power Apps, it also offers advanced functionality for seasoned developers to design complex applications with ease.

Work with your data where it lives

When organizations modernize paper-based processes, there are likely systems where the data resides. Power Apps has over 1,400 connectors available, making it easy to connect your data. You can use the underlying data service and app platform Microsoft Dataverse or a multitude of online and on-premises data sources.

Some common data sources include:

  • Dataverse
  • SharePoint
  • Dynamics 365
  • SQL Server and Azure SQL.
  • Office 365

Apps you create in Power Apps don't have to connect to only one data source. Power Apps easily supports multiple data connections allowing you to bring data together from many platforms into a single app.
