IDirectInputDevice8::RunControlPanel Method

Runs the DirectInput control panel associated with this device. If the device does not have a control panel associated with it, the default device control panel is launched.

Syntax

HRESULT RunControlPanel(
         HWND hwndOwner,
         DWORD dwFlags
)

Parameters

  • hwndOwner
    Parent window handle. If this parameter is NULL , no parent window is used.
  • dwFlags
    Not currently used. Zero is the only valid value.

Return Value

If the method succeeds, the return value is DI_OK. If the method fails, the return value can be one of the following error values:

DIERR_INVALIDPARAM DIERR_NOTINITIALIZED
