Do not use the same password for your operating system password and your Visual SourceSafe password. If you use the same password, and a hacker finds that one password, the hacker can use your identity to access the operating system and all programs. |

ss Password [-H] [-?]

Any Visual SourceSafe user can use this command. Visual SourceSafe will prompt for the user name and password.
