Plan and prepare for Power Apps in 2025 release wave 2

Important

The 2025 release wave 2 plan covers all new functionalities planned to be delivered to market from October 2025 to March 2026. In this article, you'll find the product overview and what's new and planned for Power Apps.

Overview

Power Apps changes how you build software solutions with the Plan designer. Enter a business problem, and a team of agents helps you build Power Platform software that includes agents and apps. Power Apps are beautiful and intelligent. They're powered by a set of extensible agents that support common tasks like exploring, entering, and summarizing data. You can automate common tasks by creating agents from existing apps and deploying them to take care of work autonomously. With integrated features that help you understand and monitor agent actions, and easy ways to resolve issues when agents hit roadblocks, Power Apps accelerates the shift to intelligent AI-agent solutions at scale.

  • Build with a team of agents: Bring business problems to the Plan designer. A team of agents helps you build enterprise-ready solutions that include apps, agents, Power BI reports, and more.
  • Agents apps: Engaging apps for human and agent collaboration. These apps include an agent feed that supervises the work of agents and extensible built-in agents for common tasks such as entering, exploring, visualizing, and summarizing data.
  • Enterprise-ready Vibe coding: App agent builds enterprise data-connected experiences. Just tell the agent what you need or provide an image, and it creates the experience for you.
