Overview

Power Apps is a suite of apps, services, connectors, and a data platform. It provides a rapid development environment to build custom apps for your business needs. With Power Apps, you can quickly build custom business apps that connect to your data. You can use the underlying data platform, Microsoft Dataverse, or many online and on-premises data sources, such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or SQL Server. Power Apps welcomes business users, pro developers, IT admins, and any other role that needs to build business applications.

This wave of releases focuses on the following investments:

• Plan designer: Go from business requirements and ideas to intelligent software solutions with the plan designer and a set of agents that work together to create the solution. The solution includes applications and other Power Platform assets like pages, flows, copilots, and custom agents. The solution combines new and existing artifacts. Create custom agents from your existing applications and include them in your solution.
• Extensible in app agents: Every application is intelligent and includes a set of built-in agents that help customers with their work and assist them in accomplishing key tasks with minimal friction and maximum productivity. These agents are governable, observable, and extensible. Organizations can extend and change the intelligent features to meet their business needs and requirements.
• Bring your own agents: For organizations with custom agents, Power Apps is the best way to use those agents in their applications. Power Apps makes it easy to add an agent to an app, manage the agent's work, see what the agent does, and provide help and guidance when the agent needs it.

Power Apps is rolling out updates that modernize apps by default. These updates boost developer productivity and user satisfaction. Copilot for Power Apps makers and users
With Copilot, both makers and users can use AI and natural language to speed up app development and add AI to existing apps for better data analysis. Makers can use copilots to create and change apps, work with data, and improve functionality. Users can use natural language to explore data and navigate apps, making the user experience better.

Enable enterprise scale
Power Apps constantly enhances its features for makers and administrators. These enhancements make it easier to implement low-code solutions at the enterprise level. Power Apps Studio updates its monitoring and code management tools to better support makers who work on larger, more complex apps. With these improvements, makers and administrators get better visibility and control over their solutions and environment routing.
