With this feature, you can create flows by using a conversation-first Copilot experience from the Power Automate home page.

Feature details

Before this feature, you had to create prompts with specific phrasing in Copilot to generate a flow. With this feature, you can use less specific prompts. You can simply state a business scenario, your business role and responsibilities, or pain points you encounter in your work process. In any case, you can easily start a conversation to build flows.

The conversational experience adds the ability to ask Copilot in natural language to create a workflow. For example, Copilot might ask questions to help you form a clear automation plan. This approach lets you create, refine, edit, and adjust your workflow through follow-up prompts. If your workflow has errors, you can ask Copilot to fix them.
