Business value
Whether they're looking at customer details, a large order, or any other record, users might spend a lot of time trying to understand the current state of your data and the fields that matter. The summarize with Copilot feature from 2025 release wave 1 summarizes a record into a few brief sentences, so users don't have to spend as much effort to get insights from data. As a developer, you can now use AL code to directly contribute to summaries. With this enhancement, you can provide more accurate and relevant summaries by sharing your expertise and insights. The feature reduces the time users spend interpreting records and helps them focus on what's important for their daily workflow.

With this update, you can use AL code in extensions to influence summaries that Copilot generates.
