Business value
Many professional services organizations calculate bill rates based on the cost rate of a resource. When organizations calculate these prices directly in Project Operations, they save time, get more flexibility, and don't need to use external tracking sheets for these calculations.
Feature details
Currently, Project Operations supports the ability to define a bill rate across multiple dimensions. However, you can't currently configure the cost rate. With this new feature, you can define line items in a sales price rate as a function of a related cost rate. When you enable these capabilities, you can use contracting models that include cost plus pricing.
