Measure Group

Overview

Measures are the numeric values of the [[articles:Fact (OLAP)|facts]] (transactions) that users analyze in an OLAP database. In SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), measures that come from the same source table in the OLAP database's [[articles:Analysis Services Data Source|data source]] are grouped together in a container called a measure group.
