Announcing the TLG Content Creation Kit

Hey TLG fans,

On the heels of consolidating the TLG content guidance and templates into the TechNet Wiki via the Wiki: Creating and Publishing Test Lab Guide Content portal page and associated articles, I have also consolidated the additional resources (Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint files) into a single location.

The new Test Lab Guide (TLG) Content Creation Kit in the TechNet Gallery is a zipped file containing the following:

• ModularTLGTemplate.DOCX – A Microsoft Word document with placeholder text and the basic structure for modular TLGs.
• TLGLabDiagrams.PPTX – PowerPoint slides with the icons and figures for TLG lab diagrams.
• TLGStackDiagrams.PPTX – PowerPoint slides with blocks in the correct colors for individual and product or feature TLG stack diagrams.
• HyperVConfigArticleDiagrams.PPTX – PowerPoint slides showing examples of Hyper-V configuration diagrams.
• Video_TLG_Overview_Template.PPTX – PowerPoint slides with placeholder text and the basic structure for TLG overview videos, using the previous icon set.
• Video_TLG_Overview_Template_NewIcons.PPTX – PowerPoint slides with placeholder text and the basic structure for TLG overview videos, using the new icon set.
• Video_TLG_2012BaseConfig_Example_Practice.PPTX – An abbreviated version of the PowerPoint slide deck used to create the Windows Server 2012 Base Configuration TLG overview video, with script text and animations.
• Video_HyperV_2012BaseConfigTLG.PPTX - The PowerPoint slide deck used to create the Windows Server 2012 Base Configuration in Hyper-V overview video, with script text and animations.
