This past week not only marked another successful TechEd, it marked the release of a few new SharePoint books and collateral. I was pretty excited to finally see Beginning SharePoint 2010 Development (Wrox) on the shelves, and so far it’s good to see some favorable commentary on Amazon. (Note: I’ll make sure to call out/amend any errata or follow-code samples/walkthroughs on this blog to supplement the book.)
A couple of other books of note were also released last week: Professional SharePoint 2010 Development and Professional SharePoint 2010 Administration . A nice win for Wrox to have a full set of books out to address the SharePoint 2010 market.
One of the other resources I saw at DigitalGuru was Scot Hillier’s SharePoint 2010 Development: 10 Solutions Every SharePoint Developer Should Know How to Create. This is a DVD collection of video trainings. You can get more information off of the Amazon site: https://www.amazon.com/SharePoint-2010-Development-Video-Training/dp/0672333066/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1276302798&sr=1-2.
There appears to be more books in the pipeline, so looking forward to reading up on what’s out there.
Steve
