Here we go ...

Hello everyone!

My name is Yuriy Toropov.  I am a SQL Server Premier Field Engineer (PFE) at Microsoft. Before joining Microsoft Services, I worked as an Engineer on SQL Server relational engine development team in Redmond, Washington on SQL Server 2005/2008 releases.

As a SQL PFE I tend to work on a variety of projects with many Microsoft Premier accounts varying from performance tuning and optimization to developing SQL Server infrastructure. Being a developer, I also interested in SQL Server programmability. This being the case, I will blog on variety of practical topics related to Microsoft SQL Server product.
