Hamsters, Robots, and Services

This is one of the more interesting videos I've seen in a while:

I've been poking around a bit in the Microsoft Robotics Studio on and off for the past few months, and I'm intrigued by their approach to services, tasks, and coordination. From what I can tell, it seems just plain brilliant.

Since things around here are slowing down quite a bit for the holidays, I think I am going to dig into the Robotics Studio and runtime (on vacation time). Hopefully I will have something useful to show in January.
