A lingering setup bug, unfortunately

There's one nasty, pernicious bug that we thought we'd tracked down for the Feb CTP but which is rearing its evil head. It's a build failure that ends with:

12:51:19 PM Thursday, February 23, 2006: [SDKSetup:Error] Config_Products_Install: Windows SDK Setup (failed): Installation of the "Microsoft Windows Software Development Kit" product has reported the following error: Fatal error during installation.

It seems to have something to do with the external MSIs we're installing. I'll post more when we have more info on it.

  Yes, unfortunately is still there. I just spent half a day downloading, unistalling, downloading again and still having the exact error you mentioned. Please, let us know what workaround we can use to have the SDK installed.

  Apparantly there is a bug in the setup of the Feb CTP of Windows SDK - it gives you
