SQL 2008 SP1 Released

Hopefully everyone knows SP1 is released for SQL 2008 now !

One thing which is really nice is that we can slipstream the installs as well as the slightly longer chaining method. There is a blog with details here:

It also ships with an un-install method through the normal control panel, making rollback much less painful.

On a different note, I’m doing lots of work with Business Intelligence, High Availability, and enterprise SQL/dot.net architecture. Hopefully I’ll get some time for some interesting posts soon and not the lame release notices ;-)
