    Hi @ShanlyV-5349 ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
In order to monitor the query performance, we can use the following tools. Of course, there must be some that I have not listed.

    Best regards,
    Seeya

SQL Server does not log that information. You would need a 3rd party app. There are many, SCOM, Solarwinds, etc which will keep a log over time specifically for that purpose..

How can I identify the performance load of SQL Server between 2 period of different years,

How do you define "performance" in context of SQL Server? Have you a monitoring software running?

    Hi,

I’d like to add a few thoughts to the valuable suggestions already shared. A number of great tools have been mentioned, but I’d like to highlight what worked well for me when facing a similar challenge.

In my case, I combined native features in SSMS (such as Activity Monitor and built-in reports) with third-party solutions from dbForge. Their tools helped me analyze I/O load and performance patterns across different time periods, especially when comparing usage between two separate years.

You might find the following resources useful:

These resources helped me gather metrics on CPU, memory, disk I/O, and query performance — and visualize trends across historical data snapshots.

Hope this helps someone facing a similar task.

    Best regards,
    Don
