A video editing tool developed by Microsoft, designed to make video creation easy and accessible for everyone.
Hi there,
Thank you for posting this.
I understand how troublesome it is when Clipchamp freezes after the first 37 minutes when you stack two 30‑minute videos together, and to narrow this down first could you confirm whether you’re editing in a browser or the desktop app, what browser and version you’re using, whether hardware acceleration is enabled, and if both source videos use the same format, resolution, frame rate, and codec, this behavior is commonly linked to browser memory limits, hardware acceleration conflicts, or incompatible video encoding, so what I can recommend is clearing the browser cache, disabling hardware acceleration, ensuring all clips use supported formats and identical encoding settings, updating the browser and GPU drivers, and testing the project in a clean browser profile or another supported browser before re‑importing the clips.
