Hi,

i want to purchase license "System Center 2025 Datacenter - 2 core License Pack 3 Year"

But i don't know when the license expired does System Center feature still work and just end the support for user or will all features stop working until I purchase a new license?

And there is any document say about this?

System Center 2025 Datacenter itself can be purchased as a perpetual license through Volume Licensing. That perpetual license gives you the right to use that specific version indefinitely. Software Assurance is not required to make it perpetual. The license is already perpetual by default if you buy it under a perpetual licensing program.

Software Assurance is an add-on to a perpetual license. It gives you additional benefits for a defined term (typically 2 or 3 years), such as rights to upgrade to new versions released during the SA coverage period, license mobility benefits, and other support-related benefits. When Software Assurance expires, you keep the perpetual rights to the last version you were licensed for, but you lose upgrade rights and SA benefits.

So the correct model is:
