DPM 2025 UR1 fails to install. Anyone having luck with it? It says that you may have to reboot after the initial extraction for the UI to appear. I have done that multiple times to no avail. I've also tried it on 2 different systems. OS is Windows Server 2022 because 2025 has far too many problems.

Does Microsoft test anything before they release it?

The issue is related to the VC++ x64 redistributable. If you have a later version than the original DPM 2025 distribution of 14.32.31326.0, the update will fail. For example, my system has 14.44.35211.0 installed and is failing. I've also tried to upgrade to 14.50 with the same failure.

I truly believe Microsoft tests NOTHING today. This should have been caught before releasing.

Did you ever resolve the "Agent incompatible" problem introduce in UR1? I hate to open another DPM case with Microsoft (I have 4 open right now), but I may have to. It has side effects beyond cosmetic incorrect reporting. Poweshell commands such as AutoProtectInstances.ps1 will fail because it attempts to use this removed source.
