Skype Number Porting

Since Skype is going away and I have till 24AUG2025 to port my number before it is gone. I want to port my number and I'm going to Google Voice but, I can't receive text or a call to finish this process.

"Google Voice couldn't verify this number via phone. Would you like to verify by text message instead?"

Since May 2025 I can only receive phone calls to move forward to log on to banking and important sites that sends codes to log-on. I live overseas in Korea working in the DOD/military space so Skype was wonderful for my situation. I have had this number for going on 2 decades so, this is a big move. Now MS teams will not allow me to have a stateside number which I need. How do I proceed to port my number if I can't receive a phone call or text from my number??
