How do I fix Windows update not checking for updates automatically

Windows is not checking for updates automatically. Defender updates are only installed when I manually click the Check for updates button. Looking at my update history below, there may be weeks between when I get new antivirus updates - all the items below have been installed after I manually check for updates. The manual check always works fine, and any other available updates install OK, if they're available.

I use the PC daily.

If I don't remember to check for updates manually, nothing gets updated.
