Hello,
Can someone please help me debug whether its a hardware issue or software related. When I was playing a game system suddenly got hung and in the device manager the USB shows with yellow mark (attaching pictures). The issue goes away when I turn of SMPS and hold power button for 10 seconds and start the pc. The hang sitution doesn't allow me to shutdown the pc as well, I have to hard stop the pc by pressing power button.

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.
Open Windows File Explorer.
Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.
Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.
Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.

Your minidump files all indicate a driver associated to the processor caused your system to crash.
Go to the support page for your PC or Motherboard on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of Chipset drivers they recommend and while there, if you do not have your drive encrypted with Bitlocker, check for any BIOS update that may need to be installed
Dave, when this issue occurred to me the other week, I had my drivers up to date. And there was no BSOD at that time, the system just got hung, and in the Device manager it showed that yellow mark. I am not sure if dmp files would have captured that since the system didn't had blue screen issue. At that point of time only presseing power button would shut the system. And the issue goes away after turning off smps and keep the system off for few seconds and turning it back.

The USB device error in Device Manager is usually also linked to a problem with the chipset drivers, what USB devices are connected to your PC.
I had lot of USB devices connected such as camera cable, shure mic cable, logitech mouse, keyboard and then wired wifi device. My motherboard is Gigabye B850 Aorus elite wifi 7 USB\VID_0000&PID_0002 device errors occur, sometimes preventing shutdown or restart.
System Specs:
OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (Build 26100.4768)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 AORUS Elite WiFi 7
GPU: NVIDIA (latest drivers installed via GeForce Experience)
CPU: AMD Ryzen (with Ryzen Master installed)

Current Status:
Issue is intermittent; not easily reproducible on demand.
Suspected cause is a driver or hardware-level power state handling problem (likely PCIe USB controller or Realtek/NVIDIA interaction).
Considering whether this is a motherboard firmware/driver issue or a Windows power management bug.
USB\VID_0000&PID_0002 is just a standard USB host controller, it is not an external USB device, so the problem is either with the chipset drivers, or a possible problem with the motherboard.
