Subject: Account Showing as Unlicensed

Hi,

I noticed that my Microsoft 365 account is currently showing as unlicensed, even though I’m still part of the organization. I’m unable to access some services because of this.

Here’s a reference code I came across that might help: 42db6217-e5a9-462d-b83f-a64ed5e87734

Could you please check if my license is still active in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center? If needed, you can contact Microsoft Support directly through the Admin Center under Help & Support.

Thanks so much for your help!

What kind of organization does this account belong to?

    Are you the administrator?

Is it possible that the license has expired?

Only the organization administrator can check if the licenses are assigned correctly and are still active.

The information tag on this post says For education.
If you are a graduating / graduated student who is using a school account, it is possible the school has removed your license and assigned it to a incoming student. Other possibilities are the school made some changes in their licensing (eg downgraded their license) that made you lose access to some of your services.

In any case the school administrator would be the person to contact

    Warm Regards

    Hi @JAMAICA UBALDO

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Based on your description, I understand that your Microsoft 365 account is showing as "unlicensed," which is blocking your access to services, even though you are still an active member of your organization. License management and assignments for an organization are controlled exclusively through the secure Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

For security and privacy reasons, only the designated administrators within your own company have access to this portal to check user accounts or assign licenses. Therefore, the correct course of action is to contact your organization's IT department or your Microsoft 365 administrator. They are the only ones who can verify your license status and reassign it if necessary. You can provide them with the reference code you mentioned, as it may help them in their investigation.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. I hope you get this sorted out quickly!
