Recurrent Access Removal from Group Repo Despite No Action from Admin

I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue where my access to the group repository is removed automatically every 3-4 days, even though I have asked my admin to add me to the repo, and they have confirmed that they haven’t removed my access. This issue has been persisting since last year, and I have had to ask my admin repeatedly to restore my access each time. I would appreciate it if this issue could be investigated, as it disrupts my workflow and creates unnecessary delays. Please let me know if there is any specific action required on my part to resolve this problem.

Could you please check the following things:

If your organization is connected to Microsoft Entra and if your access is tied to an Azure Active Directory (AAD) group, and that group is synced from an external directory (like on-prem AD), periodic syncs could be overriding manual changes. Your admin might be adding you manually, but the sync could be removing you again.

If Audit log is enabled in your organization, then check the audit logs to see when and why your access is being revoked.

Also check if your team membership is stable or if it’s being managed by automation.

There may be group policies or permissions settings that automatically revoke access after a certain period. Discuss with your admin to see if there are any such policies in place.

If there are multiple repositories or teams, ensure that there are no conflicting permissions that might be causing your access to be revoked.
