the 365 subscription that came with my new laptop doesn't show on my account page after installation

My 365 personal subscription used on my old laptop expires on 8/24. I purchased a new laptop that came with 1 year of 365/office. I installed it on the new laptop using the product key. Everything appears to have gone ok with the installation, but when I check my account page, the only subscription that shows up is the old subscription that expires soon. How do I get my new subscription to take over for the old one?

    Hi there,

I'm Cherrelyn and I'm here to help.

It sounds like the new subscription might not have been redeemed to your Microsoft account yet installing Office alone doesn’t always link the license. Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/serviceswith the same account you used for setup, then redeem the product key again if it shows as unused. If it was redeemed under a different account(common with pre-installed offers, you’ll need to sign into Office with that account so it reflects the correct expiry date.

I hope this will help and If you have any question please feel free to ask.

    Warm regards,

    Cherrelyn
