I'm getting an error that points to ntdll.dll and to DXGI. How can I fix it?

I've been trying to get this right for days now - I've been getting crashes in a couple of games since getting my laptop repaired (they replaced the motherboard); some of the crashes don't point to any informative module in Event Viewer but the latest one points to ntdll.dll while also giving an error message DXGI_ERROR_INVALID_CALL

All of my graphics drivers are up to date (I've updated and reinstalled them three times) so I believe the DXGI call to be a DirectX issue. Is there any way for me to verify or repair or reinstall DirectX to make sure that the version I'm running isn't the problem?

Or is ntdll.dll the problem? I understand this is a critical systems library in Windows. I've gotten the laptop back restored/reset, and performed another restore on top of that. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi, I'm Mite, and here to help.

You can use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to check whether there is a problem first. To open the tool, press Win + R. Then, enter "dxdiag" and click on the "OK" button in the "Run" window. You should see the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window. Check the "Notes" section at the bottom of every tab. If there is any problem, it will show the problem in the "Notes" section.
