Can I keep my current Outlook email address if I discontinue my account and join my wife's family plan?

My wife and I just realized that we each have separate Microsoft 265 accounts. If I discontinue mine and join her's, can I keep my current email address?

    Hi, and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

    Yes, you can keep your current email address. However, one of you must subscribe to the "Microsoft 365 Family" plan instead of the Personal plan. "Microsoft 365 Family" allows for up to six family members to join the plan.
