Hi.

I normaly started my game "Elden Ring" on Windows 11 and after a few minutes the game closed and my laptop crashed. Its a gaming laptop tho and this exact game worked fine before.
This error is new and happend some times now but it started about 2 weeks ago (The laptop is 4-5 years old).

It showed a bluescreen with the stopcode: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR

I tried to find the "Minidump" (as described in a answer of you guys) and I found the folder but it was completly empty. The file was changed today at time of the crash tho.

I dont know how to fix it and need help.

    Hi Leo Heinkelmann ,

I would check overheating first, have you had the laptop apart at all as they get full of dust especially on the fans.

Have you updated video drivers lately?

run sfc /scannow in PowerShell and see if all is OK.

What make and model is your laptop?

to check mini dump go to advance system and check the following,
