how can I get work stuff off this new laptop

we just got a laptop to use for our farm (personal) stuff but e

when my wife set it up, all our work icons and information is on the home screen. how do we keep them separate?

    Hi, and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

    I'm not sure what you mean by "Home screen".

    Perhaps you are signing into the wrong account? Or you are syncing your Desktop folder to your work account instead of your personal account?
