We have an Azure Virtual Machine running on a B4ms SKU (16 GB RAM). The Azure Portal shows the correct allocated memory for this size. However, after restarting the VM, the operating system (Windows Server) reports only 2 GB of RAM.

Description: We have an Azure Virtual Machine running on a B4ms SKU (32 GB RAM). The Azure Portal shows the correct allocated memory for this size. However, after restarting the VM, the operating system (Windows Server) reports only 2 GB of RAM.

Steps already taken:

Verified VM size in Azure Portal (still B4ms, 32 GB RAM).

Deallocated and restarted the VM.

Verified size with Azure CLI — correct size reported.

Checked memory inside OS via Task Manager and systeminfo — shows only 2 GB RAM.
