Our company installs Microsoft Windows on an Intel NUC PC and ships the product overseas for usage in other countries. What are the icensing requirements for that PC, if any, that we need to consider?

The legal details are in the licensing agreement your company signed with Microsoft. If you're just install the Windows purchased off the shelf than look at the agreement that came with the version you are installing. You should contact a Microsoft distributor to get the legal information.

    The basics:

    • There are countries that you cannot ship Windows too. Track what ever you ship and where it was shipped too.
    • A COA or license sticker, depending on the Windows version, has to go out with each unit.
