Upon accessing the content of the SharePoint site Site_Content.png, a search option is available at the top of the page.

This search feature displays results for List and Library names List_Library_Name.png; however, I require the ability to retrieve results specifically for folders within the document library FileName_Inside_Document_Library.png. I need this folder search functionality exclusively for the Site content page.

Kindly suggest the solution, how to find the content inside the library using search functionality only for site content page.

    Hi @Kapil Jindal

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Just for clarification, when you access SharePoint Site Contents, you search for a file or a folder, and they don't appear, right?

If that is the case, this is a limitation in SharePoint Online.

The Site Contents search is not a full-content search, it’s more like a structure of the site.

So, to search for a folder in Site contents is not supported.

My suggestion is to use library level search, this will return a more accurate result.

Please navigate directly to the Document library and use the search bar there. You will see "Search this library", this will only show the contents exclusive to the site.

    I hope this information helps.
