  • Make sure it’s in the same region as your Databricks workspace.
• Confirm permissions
  • The identity creating the workspace must have Microsoft.Databricks/accessConnectors/read permissions on the Access Connector resource.
  • If using a Managed Identity, ensure it’s correctly assigned and has the necessary role (e.g., Contributor or a custom role with required actions).
• Check spelling and case sensitivity
  • The resource name in the request must exactly match the Access Connector’s name (including case).
• Re-run after creating/validating connector
  • If the connector doesn’t exist, create it before running the workspace creation again.
