Regarding Invoice After Free Trial Expiry.

Hello,

I had signed up for a Microsoft Azure free trial, which expired on 9th August 2025. However, I have now received a new invoice after the trial period ended.

Could you please check and clarify why I was billed after my free trial expired? I have not knowingly upgraded to a paid subscription, and I would like to ensure no charges are applied.

Please advise on how to resolve this.

Thank you

Pruthvi

    Hi Pruthvi Gopal,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

The best option here is to contact billing support team. Please ensure to include your subscription ID, admin account used to create the subscription and invoice received to confirm that the charges are incurred for azure usage.

Please use the below steps for assistance with the charges incurred:

Create support request from azure portal and specifically select billing issue: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request#go-to-help--support-from-the-global-header

If you're unable to create support request, try to reach support via global customer support as below.
