Folders shared by others on OneDrive are nowhere to be found when browsing from inside the Microsoft apps on iOS such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, etc.

Also, when opening files inside folders shared by others from OneDrive into their respective format Microsoft apps on iOS the following error pops up:

    Hi Terry,

You can try these steps to resolve issues with shared OneDrive folders and files not showing up or opening correctly in Microsoft apps on iOS. Go to Settings on your iPad or iPhone, select OneDrive, and disable the Files interaction toggle to update OneDrive's interaction with the iOS Files app. After a little pause, turn it back on. After that, close all Microsoft programs and start OneDrive first. After that, manually add any missing shared folders by opening OneDrive Web in desktop mode in Safari, selecting "Add shortcut to My files" for the folders you want to recover, and then heading to the Shared area. Restart your device after logging out of OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook if the issue persists. Restart and then log in again, starting with OneDrive. Since subsequent versions have fixed similar sync and visibility issues, make sure that all of your Microsoft 365 apps and iPadOS or iOS are up to date. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach back if you have any questions.

    Best,
    Jeric
