Hi,

With respect to the below update I have few clarifications
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/app-service/app-service-managed-certificate-changes-july-2025

Our Appservices have public access and the certificates are App services managed . Will this change impact the renewal .

Azure App Service
Azure App Service
Azure App Service is a service used to create and deploy scalable, mission-critical web apps.

    Hi Jomon John,

    You noted that:

    • Your App Services are publicly accessible.
    • You’re using App Service Managed Certificates for your custom domains.

and if you do not use private-only access, nested/external Traffic Manager endpoints, or rely on *.trafficmanager.net you are not impacted by these changes. Managed certificate issuance and renewals will continue to work automatically.

Here are the steps to check for affected resources: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/app-service-managed-certificate-changes-july-2025#identify-impacted-resources

Hope this helps, if you have any further concerns or queries, please feel free to reach out to us.
