This is April, I'll be happy to assist you. Sorry to hear that you're having issue with your son's child Microsoft account. Let me help you out.
Based on the description of your issue, your son is receiving error messages when trying to access certain features on Xbox live. You can remove your son from the Microsoft Family group by following these steps:
- Sign in as the Family Organizer
- Go to account.microsoft.com/family and make sure you're logged in with the organizer's account - not your son's account.
- Remove Parental Consent
- Find your son's profile in the family list and click the 3 dots ( ... ) next to his name then select Manage Consent. On the following screen, choose Remove Consent. This step is required before you can remove the account from the family group
- Remove from Family Group
- Go back to the Family list, click the 3 dots menu again next to his name, and select "Remove from family group" to complete the process
