Get quota to deploy GP5 (to Switzerland North). How?

I am bit curious on how you are able to see other greyed regions. Normally, UI is designed user to select the base region of Azure OpenAI or AI foundry project resource automatically.

Use won't be able access to other regions than base regions of resource.

For e.g. If you are working in East US2 Azure OpenAI or AI foundry project, you can only use East Us 2 deployments.

So, you might need to create a Azure OpenAI/AI foundry in Sweden Central to deploy model in this region.

Regarding Restriction on GPT-5 deployment

GPT -5 model is Gated from Gating team and available in East US2 & Sweden Central (Global Standard & Data Zones)

You might need to submit organization details and use case on this form if you have not applied for O3 earlier.

While GPT-5-mini is not Gated and available in East US2 & Sweden Central (Global Standard & Data Zones)

Hi. No it comes automatically. I start in Switzerland, I do see GPT 5, but when I tried to deploy it, it doesn't give me the option, hence it created US automatically and switches. Hence not allowed for me to use (except testing, no actual data).

Since its in production and our service is used every day, i do run decent amount of traffic via GPT 4, North Switzerland. Hence I assume its actually due to quota restrictions, which is a petty that I cant deploy and innovate as a paying customer.

Both GPT-5 and GPT-5-mini are available only in two regions- Sweden Central and East US2.

We should create Parent resource (AI foundry hub/project or OpenAI) in supported regions only.

Not possible to deploy in Switzerland north now.
